Several years ago, I learned of a tight knit group of makers from around the country. Immediately, I fell in love with the idea of working with your hands and developing a product from start to finish. After reaching out to many of these companies, offering my services and willingness to do anything from apprentice and even answer phones, I realized that many of these brands were simply to small to bring anyone else on.
Coincidentally, around the same time, I stumbled upon a local Amish tack and saddle shop that sold leather hides. After purchasing a few hides and much trial and error, I was confident enough to start my own business.
When I started Bardlebee Co. I told myself that no matter what happens, quality will NEVER be sacrificed and all products will be made beginning to end by hand.
So I thank you and welcome you to Bardlebee...
